New York Fan Mocks Wes Welker At Celtics-Knicks Game
BOSTON (CBS) - With a few days off until Super Bowl XLVIII, Wes Welker and many other Denver Broncos took in the Celtics-Knicks games at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.
With the game pretty unexciting (the Knicks blew the Celtics out 114-88, and it wasn't even that close), a few New York fans decided to have some fun at Welker's expense.
A gentleman sitting behind Welker must be a Giants fan, because he took the chance to mock Welker when he was showed on the jumbotron during the game. He first made the choking signal, and then pretended to bobble a ball, making fun of Welker for his big drop in Super Bowl XLVI against New York.

The play is one few Patriots fans will ever forget. With New England leading 17-15 with 4:06 remaining, Tom Brady and company faced a second-and-11 at the New York 44. Brady threw 23 yards down field to an open Welker, and although the pass may have been a bit behind him and a bit high, the receiver was still able to get both hands on the ball.

But, as the fan illustrated, Welker couldn't make the catch. Two plays later the Patriots were forced to punt, and the Giants orchestrated a game-winning drive to walk away with a 21-17 victory.
Welker said it was a play he'll live with the rest of his life. And it's pretty clear they'll never let him forget about it whenever he heads to New York, either.
