New Hampshire Man Hurt In ATV Accident May Face Charges
HOOKSETT, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire man injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident may be facing criminal charges.
New Hampshire conservation officers say Stephen Chandonnet of Hooksett was attempting to navigate a sharp turn when he was thrown from his ATV in a wooded area of Hooksett at about 6 p.m. Saturday.
Chandonnet was taken to Elliot Hospital in Manchester for what authorities described as significant but non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers say the accident occurred in woods between West River Road and Interstate 93 in Hooksett, in an area that is not open to the public for off-road riding. They say alcohol may have been a factor and charges are pending.
The investigation is ongoing.
