New Hampshire Man Charged With Exposing Himself On Public Bus

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) — Police in New Hampshire say they have charged a Rochester man with indecent exposure and lewdness after the man exposed himself on a public bus.

Police say 53-year-old Robert Morrill exposed himself and was committing a lewd act on a bus in Portsmouth Friday afternoon. Because Morrill had been convicted of similar behavior stemming from a 2009 arrest, authorities say the charge is elevated from a misdemeanor to a Class B felony.

The bus driver interrupted his route, pulled to the side of Woodbury Avenue and called police.

Morrill was released on $750 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Portsmouth District Court on Jan. 11.

No phone listing could be found for Morrill and it was not immediately known if he has a lawyer.
