NBA Draft Prospect Dragan Bender To Work Out For Celtics
BOSTON (CBS) -- Top NBA Draft prospect Dragan Bender is set to work out for the Boston Celtics, according to a tweet by basketball reporter David Pick.
Back in May, Pick reported that the Celtics watched Bender play live in Israel and "love" the 7-foot-1 center, who could be a target for the Celtics at the No. 3 pick in the NBA Draft, which takes place on Thursday, June 23. Bender is also scheduled to work out for the Phoenix Suns and Minnesota Timberwolves, who select No. 4 and No. 5 behind the Celtics, respectively.
The Celtics worked out 12 prospects on Monday, and have additional predraft workouts scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday.
