Nashua, NH, Police Seek Second Suspect In Man's Murder
NASHUA, N.H. (CBS) – Police are seeking a second suspect in the murder of a Nashua man last month.
Investigators announced on Tuesday that an arrest warrant has been issued for Stephan Daniel Peno, 20, of Nashua, for his role in the death of Benjamin Marcum.
Marcum died from stab wounds suffered on March 12 in the area of Palm Street.
Two days later, police arrested 17-year-old John Goff and charged him with second-degree murder.
Police are seeking Peno on charges of conspiracy to commit robbery, robbery, and falsifying physical evidence related to Marcum's death.
Peno is believed to be hiding in Manchester, police said, though he also has ties in Nashua.
He is described as 5'6" tall and 150 pounds with black hair and green eyes. Peno has multiple tattoos on his arm, including a skeleton or ghost and "NFL" written on his right arm and "603" on his left arm.
Police said anyone who sees Peno should not approach him.
Instead, residents are asked to call the United States Marshals at (603) 225-1632 or call 1-877-WANTED-2.
