Nashua, N.H., Police Investigating Likely Homicide

NASHUA, N.H. (CBS) – New Hampshire police are investigating a likely homicide of a man who was found on a bike path.

Nashua police said Benjamin Marcum, 49, was found lying on the ground in the area of Palm Street around 11:15 p.m. Thursday night.

Officers said Palmer was suffering from serious injuries when they found him. He was transported to an area hospital but eventually died.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday to find the cause and manner of his death, but police said it appears Marcum was the victim of a homicide.

Police are asking for the public's help with their investigation.

Anyone with information on Marcum's death or where he may have been the day he was killed is asked to call the Nashua Police Department at (603) 594-3500.
