Carjacking Suspect Stabs Woman, Hits 8 Vehicles In Nashua, NH

NASHUA, NH (CBS) – A carjacking suspect allegedly stabbed a woman and then crashed into eight vehicles on the Everett Turnpike in Nashua on Friday afternoon.

Police say 31-year-old Jonathan Calvin committed a carjacking on Main Street in Nashua, fled onto the turnpike and crashed near Exit 4. The suspect then stabbed a good Samaritan who approached him and stole her car.

When Nashua Police found the suspect a pursuit began on the southbound side of the highway and continued into Massachusetts.

The suspect turned around and headed back north into New Hampshire where he lost control and struck eight vehicles near Exit 4.

Calvin was ejected from the vehicle and allegedly fought with officers as he was taken into custody.

Three people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries,

The northbound lanes of the turnpike near Exit 4 were closed for about two and a half hours while the crash was cleared.
