Custom House ObservatoryThis magnificent open air observatory is housed atop the Marriot Custom House Hotel, only a brief walk from Faneuil Hall Marketplace, State Street Station or the New England Aquarium. Noted as the perfect place for a "bird's eye view" of Boston, the Custom House Observatory is one destination that will make a lasting impression. The limited hours of the observatory make it a hidden jewel, a secret of the locals. "I enjoy sharing locations on Instagram that many people wouldn't otherwise know about. For example, the observatory on the 26th floor of Boston's Marriot Custom House Tower. The observatory offers a spectacular 360 degree view of the city," Brown confided. Set your time to 2 p.m. Monday thru Thursday, weather permitting, and venture up to the nesting place of the Peregrine Falcons for a small five dollar entrance fee donated by the Hotel to the Children's Miracle Network. The sky is the limit for perfect Instgram panoramas, so share the view with friends and loved ones.

Chinatown New Years Celebration"Bostonian's and Instgramers from all over the world enjoy seeing our various events," advised Brown. Another tip when looking for an amazing photo to share on Instgram is to find spectacularly colorful backgrounds Chinatown & Boston Commons host all kinds of shows, events, parades, and outdoor celebrations.

Faneuil Hall Marketplace"Boston is very supportive of the arts!" JoAnne shared, "You can often find me along the city streets with camera in tow — the sights and sounds leading me in different directions. Our city has so many extraordinary street performers." Photography is an adventure, especially when visiting the city of Boston. The supply of unique performers and characters never runs dry at the marketplace or in the Cambridge area, so make sure to travel to Harvard Square on a gorgeous sunshiny day.

Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory"Instagram is also a great venue to expose people to locations outside of the city as well. Two hours west of Boston, you can enjoy tropical temperatures amidst more than 3,000 butterflies at Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory in South Deerfield, a fun experience for all ages. Be sure to bring your camera," said Brown. There is no limit to the imagination. For a family experience that offers one memorable photo after another, butterflies bring color and unexpected surprises that are delightful for everyone, it makes no difference the age.

Harbor Islands Ferry"Sharing images of Boston doesn't always need to be done by land!" said Brown, and she's absolutely correct! It is almost a mandatory need to bring along the camera when taking any of the scenic ferries that patrol the harbor. Many commuters use the ferry from the famous Hingham Shipyard daily; if you've never tried it, think Instgram and get your sea legs ready.
