Boston Ranked 4th-Most Expensive City To Visit In US

BOSTON (CBS) -- Boston is one of the most expensive cities in the country to visit, according to a ranking by Trip Advisor.
The Newton-based travel site released the study, which calculated the average cost of a three-day summer trip for two in the ranked cities, on Tuesday. Boston was ranked the fourth-most expensive city on the list.
Meals, hotels, transportation, and activities were factors considered in the ranking.
Trip Advisor calculated the average cost of a summer visit to Boston to be just over $1,800.
Orlando was found to be the most expensive city to visit, followed by Honolulu and Seattle.
The study found that New Orleans was the most affordable city for a three-day visit.
