Mississippi Truck Driver Charged With OUI In Tewksbury
TEWKSBURY (CBS) -- A tractor-trailer driver from Mississippi is facing an OUI charge after he was pulled over in Tewksbury on Tuesday morning.
Massachusetts State Police said 24-year-old Rick Laska, of Biloxi, was driving highly erratically on Interstate 495 North at about 9 a.m. A Massachusetts Department of Transportation worker spotted the tractor-trailer and reported it to police.
Laska is charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stay within marked lanes.
He is expected to be arraigned in Lowell District Court.
