Two Arrested After Driving Into Pole While Being Chased By Police
METHUEN (CBS) -- Two people were arrested Sunday night after driving into a pole while being chased by police.
Methuen Police said the pair were wanted for several armed robberies in Lawrence.
Police said they were chasing the two on East Street in Methuen around 11 p.m. Sunday when they crashed into the pole.
The two were arrested shortly after the crash. They have not yet been identified.
Massachusetts State Police and K-9 units were called in to search for a third person, but that search did not find anyone.
