Melrose Police searching for man who shot 2 people

MELROSE — Melrose Police are looking for a man who shot two people on Sunday night.

Officers say two men were shot in their "lower extremities" on Waverly Place around 7:30 p.m. The two men were taken to nearby hospitals, but there's no word on their condition.

Police described the gunman a "white male with a beard, 130-140 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt." 

Investigators believe he and the two men knew each other and officers don't believe the shooting was random.
