McGinest Has Brady's Back, No Matter What

BOSTON (CBS) --  The DeflateGate controversy is nearing an end, and very soon we'll know whether or not Tom Brady's four-game suspension will stand or be thrown out.

As Brady and the NFL work towards a settlement, or the case has its day in federal court, evidence is starting to point in the New England quarterback's favor, with transcripts of his May 23rd appeal and thousands of his personal emails and text messages released on Tuesday.

But no matter what the final outcome of the whole saga, Willie McGinest will always have Tom Brady's back.

"That situation will work itself out," the newest Patriots Hall of Famer said on Wednesday. "Tom is my little brother and I respect him and I love him. I support him 100 percent. When the findings are all concluded and everything is over, we'll see what happens. I'll still feel the same way for him. I know the hard work he puts into it; I watched him do it from Day 1 until I left. Nothing has changed and he's just gotten better.

"He's a better person than he is a football player, and that says a lot," said McGinest.
