McDonald's Will Soon Offer Table Service At Boston Locations
BOSTON (CBS) – Date night at McDonald's, anyone?
The fast food chain has announced that Boston is one of several cities where McDonald's will begin providing table service.
Instead of waiting in line at the cashier, customers will have the option of a slightly more formal dining experience and get their food brought to their table by an employee.
"The introduction of table service makes the dining-in experience more comfortable, relaxed, convenient and stress-free," McDonald's says.
In additional to table service, McDonald's says Boston diners can look forward to self-order touchscreen kiosks, premium menu options like guacamole, mobile pay options and a more modern décor.
That changes are set to hit Boston, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington D.C. and Seattle in early 2017.
