Downed Tree Causes Green Line Delays
BOSTON (CBS) -- A large tree that fell on an overhead wire near the Chestnut Hill MBTA stop was causing delays on the Green Line Sunday morning.

Shuttle buses replaced trains in both directions between the Kenmore and Newton Highlands stops on the Green Line's D Line.

As a result of the shuttling, all bus lines also experienced delays. The MBTA urged riders to consider C Line stops, which run partly parallel to the D Line, between Kenmore and Cleveland Circle.

Shortly after noon, the MBTA said that regular service had resumed.
