Police Investigating Hit-And-Run That Killed Mattapan Pedestrian
BOSTON (CBS) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car that fled the scene of the crash in Boston Saturday night, officials said.
Massachusetts State Police said the hit-and-run happened at about 10:40 p.m. at Morton and Canterbury streets in Mattapan. The victim was a woman who died at the scene, authorities said.
Troopers are searching for a dark sedan-type vehicle, possibly a two-door.
No other information on the victim was immediately available.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 911.
