Person Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries In Mattapan Double Shooting, Boston EMS Says
BOSTON (CBS) -- A person suffered life-threatening injuries in a double shooting late Saturday night in Mattapan, Boston EMS says.
Boston Police and EMS responded to the shooting in the Astoria Street area shortly before 11:30 p.m.
The victim who suffered life-threatening injuries was found on Norfolk Street. He or she was rushed to Brigham and Women's Hospital.
A second shooting victim, found on Astoria Street, was not taken to the hospital. The extent of his or her injuries and current condition are unknown.
