Matt Brown Graduates From Stonehill College 6 Years After Paralyzing Injury

EASTON (CBS) -- Matt Brown, who was paralyzed in 2010 while playing hockey for Norwood High School, has graduated from college.

Stonehill College shared photos on Facebook of Brown from their graduation ceremony, which took place on Sunday.

Brown broke his neck in a collision into the boards during a game in January 2010. He was left paralyzed from the chest down, but that hasn't stopped him from competing in the Boston and NYC Marathons with his hometown friend and veteran Lucas Carr in the years since.
