Mass. Gas Prices Down 55 Cents From A Year Ago

BOSTON (AP) — The price of a gallon of gas in Massachusetts continues to fall, down another three cents this week.

AAA Northeast says its weekly survey Monday found that self-serve, regular is selling for an average of $1.70 per gallon. It's the 11th consecutive week of declining prices.

The Massachusetts price is a penny below the national average and 55 cents lower than the in-state average from this time a year ago.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $1.55 and as high as $1.99 per gallon.
