Mass. Gas Prices Down 24 Cents In Last Month

BOSTON (AP) — The cost of driving in Massachusetts is heading down.

AAA Southern New England reports Monday that the average price of self-serve, regular dropped another 3 cents in the past week to $2.93 per gallon.

The current price is 35 cents lower per gallon than a year ago, and 24 cents lower than a month ago.

The Bay State price, however, is 4 cents per gallon higher than the national average.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $2.76 per gallon and as high as $3.33.
