Mass. Campaign Volunteers Work To Sway Voters In Final Push

BOSTON (CBS) -- It's the final weekend before Election Day in Massachusetts and both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump supporters are not letting up because they know this race could go either way.

"This has been the most stressful cycle we have been through," one Trump supporter said.

At the Massachusetts headquarters for Donald Trump in Hudson, the office was buzzing with phone calls and supporters getting out the vote.

"We have gone through tens of thousands of yard signs, bumper stickers, and now they're picking up rally signs," said Trump supporter Pat Hackmer.

WBZ political analyst Jon Keller says the Clinton campaign need not waste time here in Massachusetts.

"The chances of Hillary Clinton losing Massachusetts in any election year, just as the Democratic nominee, setting aside running against Donald Trump, is almost nill," Keller said.

Clinton's focus on Sunday was on Maine and New Hampshire.

"They want to do everything they can to get out the word of the FBI basically saying, hey there was nothing in that new batch of emails that's going to cause us to go forward, because it certainly appears that had been having an impact perhaps on undecided voters more than anything," Keller said.

It's a race to the finish and neither side is taking it lightly.
