Masked Gunman Attempts To Rob Couple At Milford ATM
MILFORD (CBS) – A masked gunman attempted to rob a couple at a Milford ATM, but ran away without getting any money from the pair.
Milford police said the suspect was wearing a red ski mask and red bandana when he approached a couple at the Middlesex Savings Bank drive-up ATM on Wednesday night.

Police said the man showed a black gun that appeared to be a 9mm semi-automatic pistol and told the couple to "take the money out."
However, as the driver began having difficulty making a withdrawal from the ATM, police said the suspect became spooked and ran.
Two similar incidents have been reported in Woonsocket, R.I., and Milford police said the two departments are working together after the latest incident.
