Market Basket Shopper Forcefully Robbed, Dragged By Women In Car

LONDONDERRY, N.H. (CBS) – Police are trying to track down two women who forcefully robbed a Market Basket shopper and then dragged her with their car Saturday afternoon.

Authorities said the victim was loading groceries into her car in the parking lot of a Londonderry Market Basket at about 12:45 p.m. when the women drove up to her and asked for a cigarette. The driver then got out of the car and forcefully took the victim's purse, police said.

As the victim tried get her purse back, she was dragged for several feet by the car and had to go to the hospital with minor injuries.

The victim's credit card was later used at a Methuen Walmart, which is working on getting surveillance photos of the robbers.

The vehicle is described as a newer model silver/gray Ford Focus or Fiesta hatchback. The victim told police that the robber had light brown hair and a visible tattoo on her chest, and was wearing a scoop neck T-shirt.
