Marc Bertrand Confident For Peyton Manning's Inevitable Playoff Failure

BOSTON (CBS) - Peyton Manning set the world on fire during the 2013-14 season and broke all kinds of passing records in the process.

The 37-year-old threw for more touchdowns and passing yards than any quarterback in NFL history, and also led his team to the most points ever.

He's all but certain to receive unanimous NFL MVP honors, which would be the fifth of his career.

Given his record-breaking season and the fact that he himself is conceding the end is near, one could argue that there's nobody in the playoffs with more pressure on his shoulders than #18.

And as we have seen time and time again, playing under pressure - especially in the biggest of moments - has not been his strong suit: Exhibit A - Exhibit B.

In 20 career playoff contests, Manning's teams are 9-11. He's thrown 32 touchdowns to 21 interceptions and is tied with Brett Favre for most playoff losses by a quarterback in NFL history.

Marc Bertrand is confident that Peyton Manning will gag yet again, and it's coming this Sunday against the Chargers.

"I have decided that I have faith in Peyton Manning - in that I have faith that he will find a way to blow it yet again this weekend against the San Diego Chargers. I'm just starting to believe that the more that time has gone on, the more it has crept into his head," said Beetle.

Tony Massarotti wouldn't go that far, but he has increased the Chargers' chances as the week's progressed.

"As the week has gone on, I'm giving San Diego more of a shot than I initially did," Mazz said Friday afternoon.
