Marathon Bombing Suspect's Widow In Court In Driving Case
WRENTHAM, Mass. (AP) — Motor vehicle charges against the widow of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev have been dismissed.
Katherine Russell was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license, speeding and driving an unregistered motor vehicle in Franklin in August.
A court clerk said her case was dismissed Thursday morning after she appeared in Wrentham District Court and paid $150 in court costs.
Russell's lawyer did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev died following a shootout with police four days after the April 15 bombing.
