NH Teen Charged With Pulling 12 Fire Alarms

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — A Manchester teen is accused of pulling a dozen fire alarms in one day on the city's west side.

Police say the fire department responded to 12 false fire alarms between roughly 1:30 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. on Friday. A witness who was monitoring the alarms on a scanner went to one location and saw a car pull up to the alarm box and someone get out and pull the alarm. The witness called authorities and followed the car.

Fire officials then stopped the vehicle until police arrived.

Nineteen-year-old Justin Nagy was charged with creating a false public alarm. The driver, 20-year-old Stavros Doukeris, was charged with criminal liability. It was unclear Saturday whether they are represented by attorneys.
