Man Indicted In Worcester Hit-And-Run That Killed A Brother And Sister

WORCESTER (CBS) -- An Ayer man was indicted Monday in connection with a September hit-and-run that killed two siblings.

Gina and George Burdick were unloading groceries from their car on Sept. 26 when they were hit and killed by a car.

Daniel Depew, 29, is accused of hitting the siblings and driving away. Police found Depew later that evening at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute parking lot.

Depew is facing multiple charges including drunk driving, manslaughter, and leaving the scene of an accident.

He has been held without bail since Sept. 29 and is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Worcester Superior Court .
