Malden Police Seek Robbery Suspect Who Assaults Clerk, Shows Hypodermic Needle
MALDEN (CBS) -- Malden Police are looking for a robbery suspect who got into a struggle with a convenience store clerk and showed a hypodermic needle.
The armed robbery happened Sunday at the Village Mart on Florence Street in Malden, according to a Malden Police YouTube video.
Police say the suspect entered the store with their face exposed, and he leaves after the clerk asks him to remove his jacket's hood.
He then returns to the store wearing a black mask, tells the clerk he has a gun, and then showed the needle before assaulting the clerk, police said.
The suspect stole cash, police say, and fled the store after the clerk chased him out of the store while carrying a long object.
No arrests have been made.
