Malden Car Wash Employee Dies After Being Struck By Car
MALDEN (CBS) -- Authorities say a 28-year-old Everett man who worked at a Malden car wash was struck and killed by a car leaving the business on Sunday morning.
Officers were called to Sonny's Car Wash on Eastern Avenue around 9 a.m., according to a statement released by the Middlesex District Attorney's Office late Sunday night.
Jose Tobias-Vallee was cleaning tires on another car when he was hit, investigators say.
He was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No one has been charged in connection with the accident.
Malden police, State Police, and OSHA are investigating the accident.
