Malcolm Subban To Make NHL Debut For Bruins Against Blues
BOSTON (CBS) -- It's finally happening. Malcolm Subban will start in goal for the Boston Bruins.
Head coach Claude Julien confirmed after Friday's morning skate that Subban will get the start Friday night against the St. Louis Blues.
Julien also noted that Daniel Paille will be a healthy scratch. He has just one goal on the season.

Subban, the No. 24 overall pick in the 2012 draft, owns a 2.47 goals-against average and .920 save percentage this year for the AHL Providence Bruins. He was called up this week, and he was expected to get his first start in Edmonton. But the Bruins, desperate for points, played Tuukka Rask, eventually losing after a 12-round shootout.
St. Louis ranks fifth in the NHL with 3.02 goals per game.
