Security Increased At Logan Airport Ahead Of Holiday Travel
BOSTON (CBS) -- The crowds started forming early at Logan Airport for the Thanksgiving getaway.
It's one of the busiest travel days of the year, and for Patricia Landerholm, that's adding to heightened concern.
"Everything that happened this month with ISIS and airplane issues definitely makes me concerned to fly this year," said Landerholm.
There is increased security following the terror attacks in Paris, and TSA agents are taking more time to search bags.
"I'm glad they're being more thorough," said Makenna Caskey. "It makes things safer so I don't mind going through it. It's something I knew of before hand so I expected it."
Nancy Addarwal had longstanding plans to visit Paris for Thanksgiving, and says she's more determined to make the trip.
"If I get scared then people who have these ideologies will win. They're trying to scare us and I'm not going to be scared."

At Logan passengers were urged to arrive early, double check approved carry-on items, while patrols were increased.
"We just want to assure them we're taking all necessary steps to ensure their safety and security at the airport," said TSA spokesman Michael McCarthy.
International travelers say they've seen the difference.
"On the way in there was definitely a lot more security than normally see on international flights. Not sure here but it seems pretty manageable at the moment," said Radek Nowak.
As President Obama says there's no credible ISIS threat in the U.S., Governor Charlie Baker says communication with Homeland Security is constant.
"The thing I worry about is not knowing something or something cannot be communicated, but the dialogue there is ongoing," said Baker.
