BOSTON (CBS) – There are concerns over JetBlue's facial recognition scanner at Logan Airport.
Privacy advocates say it could violate federal law.
Instead of using a boarding pass, the scanners compare travelers' faces to a homeland security database, which verifies their identity.
The question now is, what's done with the pictures after your flight?
Critics say it's an expensive program and may not be the most effective.
Boston is one of eight cities testing the technology.
