After Dropping 22 On Knicks, Kyrie Irving Gave His Sneakers To A Young Celtics Fan
BOSTON (CBS) -- Kyrie Irving was his usual wizard-like self Thursday night against the Knicks, dropping a game-high 22 points while dishing out eight assists.
But it was what he dished out after the game that has fans everywhere smiling. Irving had noticed a young fan wearing his jersey and with his No. 11 shaved into the side of his head. That fan was Collin Flynn, who was also celebrating his seventh birthday.
Irving made sure it was a special day for Collin, promising to give him his sneakers after the game. He did just that following Boston's 128-100 win over the Knicks, sending Collin home with an awesome birthday gift and a giant smile on his face.
