Krejci Joining Bruins For Road Trip

BOSTON (CBS) -- David Krejci took part in his first full practice on Wednesday since suffering a knee injury last month, and will accompany the Bruins on their upcoming three-game road trip.

While it's unlikely he'll play Thursday night when the Bruins visit the Ottawa Senators, there is a chance he could return over the weekend.

"He's coming on the trip," Bruins head coach Claude Julien said Wednesday. "I can't tell you anymore than that because, really, nobody has told me when he's coming. I talked about, 'Is he a possibility for the weekend?' That could be a possibility if I'm told he is, but right now nothing has been said to me."

Boston has a pair of games in Florida this weekend: Saturday against the Panthers and Sunday against the Lightning.

Krecji, who has seven goals and 19 assists in 38 games this season, partially tore his MCL in his left knee back on February 20. He returned to the ice and took part in a non-contact practice on Tuesday.

Rookie forward David Pastrnak, who replaced Krejci on Boston's top line, missed Wednesday's practice for what Julien termed a "maintenance day."
