Keefer Madness: Swaggy P & Iggy Azalea Beefing With ESPN's Robert Flores
BOSTON (CBS) - Keefer Madness is no stranger to Twitter beef, and on Monday night's Adam Jones Show, Rich Keefe took a look at the latest drama on the internet streets.
The feud involves Nick Young, aka Swaggy P, of the Los Angeles Lakers and SportsCenter anchor Robert Flores. Flores took a shot on live television at Young's girlfriend and rapper Iggy Azalea.
Watch below:
"I don't really understand the point. Is he trying to do like an open mic, or is he doing a monologue like a Jimmy Fallon or David Letterman? I know SportsCenter is supposed to be funny, but all of those guys are gone," Keefe said Monday night. "I didn't care for it, and I guess I wasn't the only one who didn't care for it."
Swaggy P took offense to the out-of-nowhere attack, and responded to Flores on Twitter, although the tweets have since been deleted.
All that remains is this:
Keefe applauds Young for sticking up for his lady, and thinks the charge of "killing hip hop" is unfounded.
"I think she's decent. I think there's a lot of makeup going on there, if we're being honest. I think there's a good amount of makeup. But her and Swaggy P are a nice young couple that we can all rally behind. I like him defending his lady. Trying to kill hip hop? I don't see it that way. She's a talented little lady."
