Keefer Madness: Beavers Climbing The Power Rankings Of Deadly Animals

Rich Keefe continues on his quest to prove that the beaver is one of the most deadly of the animal kingdom on this edition of Keefer Madness.

Keefe recalled a past story of a beaver that jumped out of the water and attacked two people who were kayaking. It was quite the attack, and Keefe never forgot it. (May that beaver rest in peace.)

Well, Keefe shared a new story about the deadly beaver, this one up in Canada.

"The beaver in Rochester, N.Y., he tried hand-to-hand combat and lost that fight -- and I wouldn't say a fair fight, either, because [he was attacked] by a paddle and it was a 2-on-1 situation," Keefe said. "But I think word got out that that's not how to kill a human, and the beavers said, 'Well, what can we do? Well, we can gnaw on trees and we can sort of set up trap.'"

The beaver in this Canadian attack, you should know, is still at large ... probably in the wild.

The message is clear: Beware of the beaver.
