Jury Selection On Again For Ex-New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez

FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) — Jury selection is expected to continue in a Massachusetts courtroom for the murder trial of former New England Patriots star player Aaron Hernandez.

Hernandez is charged in the June 2013 killing of Odin Lloyd, a semiprofessional football player who was dating the sister of his fiancee.

Jury selection started more than a week ago. On Tuesday, Bristol County Superior Court Judge Susan Garsh is expected to continue individual questioning to weed out potential jurors who have biases, hardships or other valid reasons not to serve.

Hundreds of people have already been excluded from a pool of more than 1,000.

Among the possible witnesses listed for the trial is Patriots coach Bill Belichick. There's no indication he would be called before the team's appearance in the Feb. 1 Super Bowl.
