John Rocker Just Wants To Talk 'Survivor', Toucher & Rich Cut Interview Short
BOSTON (CBS) - Former Braves reliever John Rocker has been making the press rounds lately in anticipation for the start of Survivor, which makes its season premiere Wednesday night on CBS at 8pm.
Rocker became public enemy no. 1 after a Sports Illustrated article came out in 1999, quoting the pitcher saying very insensitive remarks about minorities and homosexuals, which he says was taken out of context.
Toucher & Rich were offered up Rocker as part of a press junket for the show, so on Tuesday after their morning show they taped a brief segment with Rocker. Rocker only wanted to talk about Survivor, and got tired pretty quickly after being prodded about his past.
