Injury Report: McCoy Leaves Bills Practice; Easley Misses Another Day For Patriots

BOSTON (CBS) -- If they're lucky, the Patriots may not have to face one of Buffalo's best offensive players come Sunday.

Bills running back LeSean McCoy left Thursday's practice session early with tightness in his hamstring, making his status iffy for Sunday's showdown with the Patriots in Buffalo.

"Do I expect him to play? I certainly hope so," Buffalo head coach Rex Ryan said Thursday.

McCoy rushed for 41 yards on 17 carries and had 46 receiving yards on three catches in his Bills debut against the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday. If he cannot go Sunday against the Patriots, Buffalo rookie Karlos Williams will likely get the bulk of the carries. Williams led the Bills with 55 rushing yards and a touchdown on nine carries last week, an average of 9.2 yards per carry.

Wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (ribs) and linebacker Tony Steward (knee) missed their second straight practice for the Bills. Safety Corey Graham (concussion) was limited for the second straight day, while receiver Percy Harvin (hip) returned to practice as a full participant.

For the Patriots, defensive lineman Dominique Easley missed his second straight practice with a hip injury, making it unlikely he'll play on Sunday. Guard Ryan Wendell was limited for the second straight day with an illness.
