IK Enemkpali Gets In Fight With Teammate, One Year After Geno Smith Sucker Punch
BOSTON (CBS) -- Last year, Bills head coach Rex Ryan was tickled by the idea of signing IK Enemkpali after the linebacker sucker sucker punched his teammate, Geno Smith, inside the Jets locker room.
This year, Ryan might be reaping what he's sown.
At Bills practice on Thursday night, Enemkpali reportedly tussled with teammate Cyrus Kouandijo, and some punches were thrown.
It was more of a standard-variety training camp brouhaha, but it nevertheless was noted by reporters on scene.

IK Enemkpali took a swing at Cyrus Kouandjio just now. Ryan Groy stepped in and it was a 2-1 situation. This a year after IK socked Geno.

The incident was noteworthy on its own, but it coincidentally came on the one-year anniversary of the infamous sucker punch.
That punch, of course, led to Enemkpali's release from the Jets. Ryan -- fired by the Jets several months prior -- couldn't wait to sign the linebacker, and Ryan even named Enemkpali a captain for the Bills' game against the Jets.
Enemkpali finished the season with nine solo tackles, bringing his career total to 11.
"That's just Rex being Rex," Jets safety Calvin Pryor said last year when Enemkpali was named a captain. "Over the years, he's had his antics. It was definitely kind of disrespectful."
This time, Rex being Rex may be proving at least slightly damaging for the Bills.
