2 men dead after shooting on Dedham Street in Hyde Park
HYDE PARK – Two men are dead after a shooting in Hyde Park late Saturday night.
Police are still piecing together exactly what happened after one victim was found dead in a car on Dedham Street and the second died later after walking into a nearby hospital for help.

According to investigators, the deaths are connected to the same Saturday night shooting.
"I was like, oh my god I think those are gunshots, so I came down here and looked out the window to see what was going on," said neighbor Anne Marie Biaggs, who called police immediately. What she saw next was shocking.
"I saw a car in front here and it kind of just rolled down the street over until it hit the curb. They finally opened the door and a body fell out and they just covered it with a tarp," said Biaggs.
The Suffolk County DA said the two men shot were in their 20's, concerning to community advocates noticing in uptick in crime.
"We're feeling pain once again," said community advocate Rev. Kevin Peterson.
According to the Boston Police Department in 2023 there have been 35 shootings across the city. After this weekend's shootings, that number will increase.
"Violence is never the answer, we need to refrain from it," said Rev. Peterson.
Investigators are asking for the public's help. Anyone with information on what caused the violence is asked to contact Boston Police and can do so anonymously.
