NEW YORK (CBS) – Girl Scout cookies for breakfast? It's really happening.
General Mills says Girl Scout cookie cereal will be on sale nationwide in January.
The limited edition cereal will be available in thin mint and caramel crunch flavors.
The sweet news has Girl Scout cookie fans on Twitter very excited.

Last month, the Girl Scouts announced they would start selling a s'mores-flavored treat in January to mark 100 years of cookie sales.
More information will be available on the cereal as it gets closer to launching, General Mills says.
