Mass. Gas Prices 17 Cents Below National Average

BOSTON (AP) — The cost of a gallon of gasoline in Massachusetts has trickled down another 2 cents in the past week.

AAA Northeast reports Monday that its weekly survey of gas prices found self-serve, regular selling for an average of $2.09 per gallon.

The current price is a dime lower than a month ago and $1.08 lower than a year ago. It's also 17 cents per gallon lower than the national average.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $1.92 per gallon and as high as $2.55.
