They definitely are not your typical shakes. They are packed and stacked and drizzled and frosted and big and beautiful. And they taste even better than they look.

"We're making frappes great again," said co-owner Paul Malvone. "We're going outside the box. The whole thing comes out decorated. When you see it, you're going to be wowed by it. Trust me."

There are about ten Freak Frappes on the menu. Here are just some of the highlights.

The Strawberry Shortcake Freak Frappe is a ton of ice cream, some milk and strawberry jam, topped with shortcake, strawberry sauce, whipped cream and Twizzlers. It's like an entire bakery on top of a frappe.

There's one called Danny is the King. It has peanut butter, bacon and bananas. Pour that into a mug lined with dried banana chips and caramel sauce, and top it with whipped cream, candied bacon, and deep fried banana rolled in cinnamon sugar.

There is Paul's favorite – the Nutella frappe, in a Nutella and coconut lined cup, topped with hazelnut cookies, toasted marshmallows and a big brownie.

Their Vanilla Frappe has Nilla Wafers, vanilla Oreos, and some jelly beans to round it out. There's an Oreo Frappe, with tons of chopped Oreos right on top. The Chocolate Frappe is stacked with chocolate chips, lined with chocolate cookies, with a cherry on top. Then there's the Mass Ave Mudslide – a boozy Freak Frappe. It's a Chocolate Frappe along with some Bailey's and Kahlua.
