Canton Woman Pleads Guilty In Romance Scam

CANTON (CBS) – A former Massachusetts resident pleaded guilty to charges in connection with a $4 million romance scheme.
The U.S. Attorney's Office said 36-year-old Florence Wende Musau used fake online identities and persuaded victims to send money. In March, the native of Kenya, who lived in Canton, was one of six people arrested in the scheme.
She faces up to 30 years in prison.
