First Great White Shark Of 2015 Tagged Off Cape Cod
BOSTON (CBS) – The first great white shark of the year has been tagged off the coast of Cape Cod.
The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy spotted the 13-foot female, named Avery, off Chatham on Monday.

Last year, 18 white sharks were tagged by Dr. Greg Skomal of the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries working with Atlantic White Shark Conservancy.

Experts will be using new technology to track the sharks this summer.
