Felger and Massarotti kicked off the week discussing the Boston Red Sox and today's season opener against the Orioles in Baltimore. Is Jon Lester a $20 million a year pitcher? Also, Shane Victorino was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a hamstring injury. Jackie Bradley Jr. has been called back up to the Major League squad. Opening Day also means the expansion of instant replay in Major League Baseball. How will the expansion affect the league? Dan Roche of WBZ-TV checked in with Mike and Tony from Baltimore to preview this afternoon's season opening game for the Red Sox and Lester's contract.
In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz continued to preview today's start to the Red Sox season. Can the Red Sox make another deep run this season? Mike and Tony changed gears to talk some New England Patriots. The guys discussed the extension of Vince Wilfork. Who won the negotiations? The Kraft's or Vince Wilfork? Finally, Hardy has to come in and explain a joke to Felger and Mazz.
During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, the guys talked some NCAA Tournament. What kind of affect has instant replay had on the tournament? To wrap up the hour, the guys talked about Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Bruce Orpik's hit on Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews.
In the fourth and final Hour, Felger and Mazz continue to discuss Orpik's hit on Toews. Mike and Tony went to talk about the Boston Bruins. Are the Bruins capable of sweeping their 1st-round opponent in the playoffs? Finally, it's the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
