Felger and Massarotti are broadcasting from Hurricane O'Reilly's and the guys opened the day discussing The Kraft family and Major League Soccer's New England Revolution. The Kraft's are successful as the owners of the New England Patriots, but struggle with the Revolution. Is the goal of the Kraft's to make money or to win with the Revolution? Does it hurt the Revolution that their home games are played at Gillette Stadium?
During Hour 2 of Felger and Massarotti, the guys discussed what it takes to build a winning team in the NBA. What is the path the Boston Celtics should follow? Is the Draft Lottery the right place to re-build this season? Felger and Mazz continued to take calls on the Revolution. What if the Revolution had a bigger local fan base? The discussion also turned to the Boston Red Sox and their Opening Day lineup. Should Grady Sizemore get a chance to hit in the middle of the order?
In Hour 3, Felger and Mazz got into the Boston Bruins and tonight's game against the Chicago Blackhawks. Bruins President Cam Neely joined Mike and Tony to discuss the Back Bay fire tragedy and tonight's game against the Blackhawks. Finally, the guys talked about the projected starting lineup for the Red Sox.
In the fourth and final Hour of the Felger and Massarotti Show, the guys were joined by Bruins color analyst Bob Beers to preview tonight's B's game against the Blackhawks. Mike and Tony got back into the Sizemore vs. Bradley Jr. debate. Where should Sizemore bat in the lineup? Also, reports are indicting that Vince Wilfork will return to the Patriots and sign a 3-year extension worth $22.5 million. To wrap up the day, we hear the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
