Felger and Mazz: May 30, 2014
It's an Agenda Free Friday on the Felger and Massarotti Show today! Mazz kicked off the day discussing the Boston Red Sox and the recent play of Xander Bogaerts. Felger's opening topic was last night's elimination of the Montreal Canadiens from the Eastern Conference Finals. The guys went on to discuss Darrelle Revis' first meeting with the media at the New England Patriots OTA's. Finally, what value does Jonny Gomes bring to the Red Sox?
In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz continue to discuss the Red Sox and the eyesight of starting pitcher Jake Peavy. Mike and Tony got back into the Patriots and the drafting of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in the second-round. Is Garoppolo more than just "disaster insurance" for the Pats?
Chris Gasper of the Boston Globe joined Felger and Massarotti for Hour 3. The guys opened the hour continuing to discuss the Patriots future at the quarterback position. How much does Tom Brady have left in the tank? Mike, Tony, and Chris went on to talk about the sale of the Los Angeles Clippers to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. Ballmer paid $2 billion for the Clippers. Who is Gasper picking to be in the NBA Finals? To wrap up the hour, the guys had a little more fun at Jonny Gomes' expense and Manny Ramirez's role in Wednesday's festivities.
In the fourth and final Hour of an Agenda Free Friday, Felger and Mazz continue to discuss the sale of the Los Angeles Clippers. Mike and Tony continued to take calls on everything they talked about this week. Finally, we hear from Squeaky Mazz and Mad Mike in the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
