Fatal Hit-And-Run In Brockton Investigated
BROCKTON (CBS) -- A pedestrian was hit and killed in Brockton Sunday night by a driver who fled the scene, police said.
The man was hit on Belmont Street at about 9:30 p.m. and was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police. His shoes were still on the scene hours later.
Police are checking to see if surveillance video from a nearby 7/11 could provide any clues. The Plymouth district attorney's office is also investigating.
